The MTA slapped a famed picture of Bobby Kennedy on millions of MetroCards without permission, a copyright suit claims.

Stanley Tretick’s photos of the Kennedy clan won acclaim, but his heirs say one iconic image was ripped off for the 2008 rededication of the Triborough as the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge.

The Manhattan federal court filing says the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights failed to pay a $5,000 fee, yet plastered the image on everything from billboards to the MetroCards.

The center did not reply to a request for comment. The MTA declined comment.
