The Fourth of July weekend will bring plenty of fun in the sun — but watching fireworks might be a different story.

There’s a slight chance of light showers in the five boroughs Monday evening, just as the annual Macy’s fireworks display kicks off along the East River.

“When we head into the fireworks, we do believe there will be rain near the city, to the south and west,” said senior AccuWeather meteorologist Andy Mussoline.

The temperature is forecast to hit 84 degrees on a sunny Sunday and 85 on Monday, he said.
