The thug charged with raping a woman at a Bronx Howard Johnson Express Inn has a long rap sheet, sources said.

Ivan Jones, 27, of the Bronx was on probation when he raped, bound and robbed a 33-year-old tourist from North Carolina who asked for directions near Union Square in Manhattan Wednesday, cops said.

Jones was charged with rape and assault for his latest crime. He has past convictions on burglary, firearm and drug charges.

The crook also busted out of Rikers Island in 2004, a source said.
