Rapper Stew Deez, who was performing at a Long Island nightspot, was arrested for firing a gun into the air during a fight outside the club early Friday, police said.

Cops responded to a call of people fighting outside The Emporium in Patchogue at about 2:30 a.m. when they heard gunshots and saw a crowd dispersing.

They arrested the Cleveland-based rapper, whose real name is Steward Howse, at about 4:35 p.m. He performed at The Emporium Thursday night before the Grammy Award-winning group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, also of Cleveland, and is traveling with them on a national tour.

He was charged with reckless endangerment and weapons possession. No one was hurt.
