A relative of hip-hop artist Rob Base was shot dead in a Bronx playground, cops said Saturday.

Ryan Ginyard, 24, a second cousin of Base, best known for his 1988 classic “It Takes Two,” was blasted in the stomach inside the Mount Hope Playground at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.

His mother, Lori Ginyard, doesn’t believe he was the intended target.

“He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time,’’ she said. “He was always there for everyone.

“He was loved by all of his friends as well as the ladies,” she said.

“He was a ladies’ man.’’
