A Central Park coyote that was has been the subject of “rare” sightings over the years was caught scampering through the snow, video shows.

Footage showed the elusive coyote racing through the green space before briefly stopping to look back around 10 p.m. Monday.

“I spotted a COYOTE at the Conservatory Water,” wrote user @benys_lookbook on Twitter.

The sighting comes after another park-goer had a run-in with the beast Saturday.

Birder David Barrett, who documented both sightings on his Twitter account Manhattan Bird Alert, said encounters with the beast are “rare” since it prowls the park at night.

“It’s a rarity, they’re great at avoiding people. It’s a rare and wonderful sighting,” Barrett said.

The Parks Department said only one coyote is believed to call the famous park home.

“Many are surprised to learn that a coyote hangs out in Central Park from time to time,” a parks spokeswoman told The Post. “New Yorkers should not be concerned: we believe there is only one coyote; and have no reason to believe that the population has increased, at this time.”

The sightings come as the park has drawn hundreds of people at night hoping to see a historic snowy owl, a species that hasn’t been spotted there since December 1890.
