Rare Poe for sale
Quoth the raven: A rare copy of Edgar Allan Poe’s first book could set a record at auction.
One of 12 copies of “Tamerlane and Other Poems,” published in 1827, is expected to fetch over $500,000 at Christie’s today. “It’s considered the Holy Grail of American book collecting,” Boston College English professor Paul Lewis told The Post.
