ALBANY — It’s Ray Kelly to the rescue.

Gov. Cuomo said Wednesday that he’s naming the former city police commissioner to conduct a terrorism “preparedness audit” of state agencies.

“As a lifelong New Yorker, the longest-serving commissioner in NYPD history and the leader of the NYPD’s counterterrorism efforts for over 10 years, Commissioner Kelly is uniquely situated to recognize the threats facing New York and to identify the solutions necessary to confront them,” the governor’s office said in explaining the appointment.
