The sweeping federal indictment charging Mayor Eric Adams with corruption was unsealed Thursday morning.
Eric Adams became the first sitting NYC mayor to be indicted by a grand jury. James KeivomAdams — the only defendant named in the 57-page complaint — is the first New York City mayor to face an indictment while in office.
