Rein of NYPD twins
Crooks are in for some double trouble.
The newest mounted cops to patrol city streets are Brooklyn-born identical twin sisters once nicknamed the “Twin Towers” for their formidable height.
Officers Kim (pictured left) and Loren Bove graduated from the Mounted Unit’s Remount School of Horsemanship yesterday after an intense four-month training program that taught them how to handle their steeds in city crowds.
“It’s extra special to be able to get into this elite unit with my sister,” beamed Kim.
“There is a little extra competition between us, and we want to do better than each other. It gives you a push.”
The officers, 34, applied to become mounted cops four years ago, but didn’t get the call to saddle up until this year.
