A laborer who died after falling out a third-floor window of a Manhattan co-op had less protection than the apartment he was working in, according to a lawyer for the man’s family, which has filed a $9 million lawsuit.

Antonio Urquiza, 50, was working in the five-bedroom apartment of Mary and Edmund Carpenter at 840 Park Ave. when he somehow slipped through one of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
