A repo man clung to a car hood for 10 blocks on Staten Island Thursday after a deadbeat ran him down as he tried to sieze her sedan.

The collection agent held on to 59-year-old Helen Walker’s car for nearly a mile after Walker ran him over as he tried to impound her sedan at 7 p.m, according to the Staten Island Advance. The agent only suffered minor injuries, but Walker was charged with assault and could spend the next seven years in prison.

Law enforcement sources told the paper that after Walker interrupted the repo man as he tried to take the car in front of her Victory Boulevard home, she quickly jumped in and drove off — with the collections agent still clinging to the hood. When cops stopped her blocks away the man was still holding on for dear life.
