The Russian tourist who says she was brutally date raped by a charming “French journalist” in Riverside Park last week had plenty of company before a grand jury — “multiple” other women have fingered him for similar sex attacks in testimony over the last two days, a source said yesterday.

And thanks to the testimony, accused rapist Hugues Akassy — who authorities believe is homeless — may be indicted as early as Monday as a virtual one-man sex-crime wave.

“Multiple cases have been presented,” to the grand jury, all alleging sexual attacks by Akassy, said the source, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Details of the charges, including the number of alleged victims and the nature of the alleged crimes, will be revealed when Akassy is formally arraigned on the indictment, likely by month’s end.

It remained unclear whether the victims testifying included an unnamed assistant district attorney, who Akassy’s lawyer says he’s learned from prosecutors is among his client’s accusers.

“My client will testify in his own defense Monday morning,” the lawyer, Howard Simmons, said yesterday.

Simmons said Akassy will insist any alleged “attacks” were actually consensual encounters.

Prosecutors said that Akassy is a brutal and secretive man, apparently surviving on the outskirts of society.
