Two meat deliverers narrowly escaped this blazing van on Fifth Avenue near the Flatiron Building yesterday, thanks to a quick-thinking sanitation worker.

Wilson Jimenez saw the fire just beginning, and warned the two men inside to get out. A few seconds later, they would have been trapped, and “nobody was going to help them,” Jimenez told NY1.
