An elderly man died yesterday nearly two weeks after he was beaten and robbed in his West Village apartment, cops said.

Joseph Sibilla, 83, was attacked in his home on West 12th Street near Sixth Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. April 29. The killer beat Sibilla, causing multiple facial fractures, and robbed his wallet.

One neighbor said construction workers sometimes accidentally leave the building’s door open.
