A small cut on an Albanian mobster’s finger could earn him a big prison sentence.

Afrim Kupa, 37, yesterday became the first person charged with a February 2009 burglary in which he and cohorts allegedly spent a weekend cutting open a Brooklyn bank’s roof with a blowtorch to loot safe-deposit boxes of more than $250,000 in jewelry and cash.

Investigators matched Kupa’s DNA from a database with blood he allegedly spilled at the Astoria Federal Savings Bank in Borough Park after cutting his finger during the break-in.

The Staten Island resident is suspected of belonging to a crew that pulled similar bank burglaries in New York and New Jersey, sources said. Another crew member, Chris Paciello, later went on to own Miami nightclubs and date Madonna before pleading guilty to murder and robbery, sources said.

Kupa currently is on probation for a 1999 narcotics conspiracy case that earned him a seven-year prison sentence. He also has convictions for robbery and racketeering. J
