A robbery suspect who was found hanging from the bars of his Bronx jail cell Wednesday in an apparent suicide attempt died at Jacobi Hospital on Friday, police reported.

Samuel Reyes, 49, had been arrested in connection with two armed robberies, police said.

He wielded a BB gun during a robbery at a Family Dollar store on Nov. 10 at 11:50 a.m., cops said.

When police arrested him that day, they connected him to an Oct. 28 robbery at a Boost Mobile store, where cops said he may have also had the BB gun in his possession.
