Happy trails are here again for Rockaways residents.
Gov. Cuomo’s budget proposal includes funding to restore a popular Cross Bay Bridge toll-rebate program killed in 2010 due to the MTA’s budget woes.
The executive summary for the preliminary budget unveiled Tuesday indicates the state will funnel money to the MTA to reinstate the full E-ZPass rebate program, allowing Rockaway residents to effectively cross for free.
