‘Roid cop’s battle
A high-ranking NYPD officer accused of breaking department regulations by using steroids will fight for his job at a departmental hearing that begins tomorrow.
Deputy Chief Michael Marino could have ended the case by agreeing to give up 30 days pay and endure a year of employment probation.
But he claims the charges are unfair because the drugs met a legitimate medical need.
