Two rookie cops kept a troubled woman from jumping from the George Washington Bridge Monday afternoon.

Port Authority Officers Samantha Koch and Terrence McPike were on patrol when they spotted the visibly upset woman lingering on a walkway at around 4 p.m., according to a PAPD spokesman.

The pair approached the woman, who was wearing a full-length fur coat and drinking a bottle of whiskey, and convinced her to get into an ambulance.

She was taken to Bergen County Regional Medical Center.

PAPD officers have rescued 73 other people who were threatening to jump from the bridge in 2014.

That number includes seven rescued in December alone.

That’s a 100-percent increase compared to last year, according to the PAPD.
