Bubacarr Drammeh, 49, of the Bronx was driving with hundreds of bags, shoes and belts with fake labels from designer brands Gucci, Tory Burch, Louboutin, and Burberry at about 9 p.m.when he was involved in a car crash on the George Washington Bridge, according to officials.
Port Authority Police Officer Christopher Roncancio–who graduated from Police Academy on Dec. 22 — responded to the accident, but his attention was captured by Drammeh’s cargo, according to a Port Authority spokesperson.
The suspect was arrested has been charged with trademark counterfeiting.
