A 20-year-old woman was found dead – her body badly decomposed – inside her Brooklyn apartment early Thursday after a concerned relative called the cops, authorities and police sources said.

Officers conducting a wellness check found her corpse lying in the fetal position on the couch of her apartment on President Street near Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights – the former Bedford Union Armory that now provides affordable housing at around 7:20 a.m., cops and sources said.

A family member had reported not hearing from the young woman in a long time, police said.

It was not immediately known when exactly the woman died.

There were no obvious signs of trauma on her corpse, police said.

The city medical examiner’s office will officially determine the woman’s cause of death, cops said.

She was not immediately publicly identified.
