A 65-year-old Manhattan lawyer says a court officer roughed him up, slamming him into a wall and arresting him after the attorney told him to “relax.”

“He kept screaming, ‘How dare you say, ‘Relax,’ ” said Max Leifer, who was charged with disorderly conduct in Manhattan Civil Court at 60 Centre St. Monday.

Leifer filed a complaint with the Office of Court Administration, demanding an investigation.

OCA spokesman David Bookstaver said there is a criminal investigation — of Leifer, for allegedly calling the court officer’s home three days later and “and repeatedly threatening his family.”
