State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos heard some boos at the state Conservative Party’s 50th anniversary dinner in Manhattan this week — the first time party Chairman Michael Long can remember catcalls at a party dinner in his 24 years at the helm.

Many Conservatives haven’t forgiven Skelos (R-LI) for allowing the 2011 vote that legalized gay marriage in New York, but Long called the booing “rude.”
