Rudy Giuliani is delivering an urgent appeal to supporters: Throw your dough at Joe!

Giuliani yesterday penned a fund-raising letter to GOP activists and donors to contribute to Republican front-runner Joe Lhota’s mayoral campaign before tomorrow’s campaign-finance filing deadline.

Having Giuliani as a pitchman is a boon for Lhota, who has to raise the money necessary not only to win the primary but also to compete in the general election against the Democrats.
