Rudy Giuliani was ranked No. 1 when voters here were asked which New York City mayor over the last half-century “did the best job.”

Giuliani got 31 percent of the votes in the Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday. After him, came Ed Koch with 25 percent; Mayor Bloomberg (24), David Dinkins and John Lindsay (6) and Abe Beame (1).
