The jury pool for the trial of a former Rutgers student accused of using a Webcam to spy on his roommate’s intimate encounter with another man was cut yesterday after the judge reviewed questionnaires.
Just 85 Middlesex County New Jersey potential jurors remained for the trial of Dharun Ravi, 19, which could start as early as today. Ravi’s multiple charges include bias-intimidation against his gay roommate, Tyler Clementi, whose 2010 suicide, days after the recorded encounter, focused attention on bullying of young gays.
