Mayor Bloomberg yesterday was among hundreds at the 10th-anniversary memorial for American Airlines Flight 587, which crashed in Queens shortly after 9/11.

Tears flowed at a reading of the names of the 260 passengers and crew members and the five people killed on the streets of Belle Harbor. The plane had just left JFK Airport for the Dominican Republic.

Despite fears of a terrorist attack, pilot error was ruled the cause.
