ALBANY — Angelina Jolie fans in Albany can get a jump on the rest of the nation when her new thriller, “Salt,” premieres there one day before going national.
The Palace Theatre will offer a free screening on Wednesday, July 22. “Salt” stars Jolie as a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy.
Parts of the film were shot in New York’s capital in the spring of 2009. The last major motion picture to get an Albany premiere was 1987’s “Ironweed,” which was also shot there.
