This sanitation worker cleaned up a little extra trash.

A street sweeper used his broom machine yesterday to chase down an alleged shoplifter bolting from a Bronx pharmacy.

Lamont Billings, 37, was cleaning East 182nd Street in Belmont at about 9 a.m. when he saw two workers from a nearby Rite Aid running after David Parker, who had just boosted several items, authorities said.

Billings said he spun a U-turn, took a shortcut through some side streets and cordoned off Parker, 47, a few blocks away.

“You’re Sanitation. Why are you doing this?” Billings said a petered-out Parker asked him as he held the purported perp and dialed 911.

Parker was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.
