A sanitation truck slammed into a Long Island Rail Road train this morning in Queens leaving one person with minor injuries, officials said.

The commuter train was heading towards the Long Island City station when a sanitation truck suddenly backed into it near the Waste Management facility on Review Avenue at about 8:30 a.m., officials said.

There were 20 passengers onboard the train, which left the Oyster Bay station at 7:13 a.m., MTA officials said.

One person was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with minor injuries, fire officials said. The investigation is ongoing
