France’s first couple canoodles in Central Park yesterday, trying to silence gossip that their love is on the rocks.

President Nicolas Sarkozy and wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy — both rumored recently to have other lovers — kissed over lunch at The Boat house restaurant before heading back to their hotel.

Sarkozy earlier this month dismissed the alleged affairs — his with a government official and hers with another pop singer — as “ridiculous rumors.”
