The body of a missing Scarsdale doctor was found today in the water off a remote area of The Bronx.

Dr. Mona Shimshi, 55, had been missing since she left her home Sunday night to run errands.

Shimshi’s car, a 2008 Honda, was found yesterday in the Pelham Bay section of The Bronx, near an entrance to the Police Department’s shooting range at Rodman’s Neck.

NYPD divers found Shimshi’s body in the water at 11:21 a.m. today, authorities said.

There were no signs of trauma.

Earlier, Scarsdale police said the car was locked and there were no signs of a struggle.

A cause of death is pending from the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Shimshi, who was married and had two adult children, was chief of endocrinology at Bridgeport Hospital.
