Manhattan federal Judge Shira Scheindlin agreed Tuesday to relinquish oversight of a stop-and-frisk-related lawsuit — and showed she was not happy at all about it.

Scheindlin gave the case to Judge Analisa Torres, who previously took over two other higher-profile stop-and-frisk lawsuits from Scheindlin after an appellate panel in October 2013 removed Scheindlin from the cases.

“I am transferring the . . . case with regret as it would have been most appropriate for the judge that supervised this case . . . for more than five years to supervise the implementation of the remedies imposed by the court or agreed to by the parties,” said Scheindlin.
