The concert-ticket-selling industry is a massive scam rigged to cheat the general public and make tickets available to insiders and third-party sellers, an investigation found Wednesday.
A multiyear probe by state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office determined that more than half of all tickets — 54 percent — are reserved for insiders.
“Ticketing is a fixed game,” Schneiderman said. “My office will continue to crack down on those who break our laws.”
