The state attorney general’s office is looking into charges that a home health aide turned a patient into a mummy by wrapping her up in bed sheets, The Post has learned.

“We take any allegations of patient abuse seriously, and we are in touch with the NYPD about this incident,” said a spokesman for Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

The Post exclusively reported Friday that home health attendant Singo Omega rolled up Yvonne Wilson, 69, in a cocoon of bedsheets at her Astoria home on Feb. 15.

Omega, 30, was being filmed by a security camera set up by Wilson’s daughter, Chantar Riviere, 50, so she could keep tabs on her sick mother from work.

Omega fled and has not been seen since.

The NYPD says it has enough evidence to arrest Omega when detectives find her.
