A school bus returning from a field trip rear-ended a truck on the Cross Bronx Expressway yesterday.

Nine children were aboard. One suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lincoln Hospital.

The bus was southbound on the highway near Boston Road just before 2 p.m. when a truck stopped short in front of it, authorities said.
