At least 30 people were injured Friday morning when a school bus carrying adults with special needs collided with another vehicle, officials said.

The school bus was driving west near Avenue U and East 61st Street in Mill Basin around 9:20 a.m. when it collided head-on with a sedan going in the opposite direction, police and the FDNY said.

A total of five patients, including four of the special-needs adults and the bus driver, were taken to Brookdale Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the FDNY and the NYPD said. Twenty-three patients were evaluated at the scene and cleared by medical personnel and another two refused medical attention, the FDNY said.

The driver of the sedan was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operating of a motor vehicle and charges against them are pending.
