The Fire Department says a school bus driver was hurt when he crashed into a house in Brooklyn after colliding with an SUV.

There were no children aboard the bus and no one was in the house at the time.

The accident occurred around 8:20 a.m. Monday on Rockaway Parkway.

The FDNY says there was a small fire in the bus engine as a result of the crash.
