Parents at a public elementary school and a charter school that shares its Brooklyn building battled it out over limited classroom space last night.

They clashed at a raucous hearing over the PAVE Academy’s bid to extend its stay at PS 15’s Red Hook facility for at least two more years, until its building is completed.

PS 15 parents insisted their kids’ education would be negatively impacted by the expanding charter school.

But academy parents said their kids have equal rights to the public building’s space.

Department of Education officials, who claim the building is less than 70 percent utilized, said they would rule on the extension later.
