A Manhattan appeals court ruled yesterday that a Christian congregation can continue holding Sunday services in a Bronx public school, but said the Department of Education can close its doors to other religious groups.

The US Second Circuit Court of Appeals ruling only affects the Bronx Household of Faith because it is the only congregation involved in the case, which is challenging a 2002 ban on “using a school as a house of worship.”
