A scooter driver is in critical condition after a hit-and-run in Queens Sunday night, authorities said.
The 35-year-old victim was riding north on Woodhaven Boulevard in Ozone Park at approximately 11:20 p.m. when a northbound SUV attempting to turn onto Rockaway Boulevard struck him, cops said.
The driver who may have ran through a red light-then tried to flee the scene but was later apprehended, sources said.
The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital with a leg injury and is listed in critical condition, according to police.
The driver was arrested but has yet to be charged, cops said.
