Five would-be robbers who busted into a Bronx apartment were scared off by the screams of a brave 7-year-old girl, who kept hollering even as they held her at gunpoint, police said Friday.
The group broke into an apartment on Creston Avenue near East Burnside Avenue at about 2:20 a.m. on June 1, cops said.
After forcing their way through the front door, one of the man held up a gun, pointing it at a mother, 28, and her 7-year-old daughter.
That’s when the frightened girl started screaming, scattering the would-be thieves, who left empty-handed, officials said.
No injuries were reported, cops said.
The suspects are described as Hispanic men, one possibly in his teens.
