A teenage swimmer was missing and a second was rescued from the waters off Coney Island Beach on Thursday, police have said.
Dive teams from the NYPD and FDNY responded around 12:45 p.m. to a report of two people drowning at Coney Island Beach near West 22nd Street and Surf Avenue, according to police and sources.
A 14-year-old boy was safely pulled from the water, while a second teen, 15, remained missing as of 2:40 p.m., sources said.

Three good Samaritans, Fernando Agurto, John McLean and Benjamin Colon, rescued the younger teen, who was reported to be conscious and alert.
