Residents of a 21-story high-rise on the Upper East Side are suing the MTA to stop a proposed pair of Second Avenue subway entrances in the middle of their block.

The tenants association and owners of the Yorkshire Towers, at 315 E. 86th St., claim the agency has not done the necessary environmental-impact studies before adding the station.

They claim the area will be “one of the most dangerous places in New York City” during construction because of the blasting needed to construct the entrance. The residents prefer a station with one entrance at the northeast corner of the intersection.
