ALBANY — The mystery owner of “cuomo2016.com” is hoping Gov. Cuomo’s rising political fortunes will turn the domain name into a cash cow.

The creator put the moniker up for auction through godaddy.com — clearly hoping speculation about Gov. Cuomo running for president in four years yields the hoped-for price of $48,499.

But don’t hold your breath. Bids start at $10 and, as of yesterday, there were no offers.
