If all the world’s a stage, then two parking spaces should do just fine.
Fordham University students put on a full Shakespeare show in just such a small space on the Upper West Side yesterday, part of a day when 50 city parking spots were taken over by transit advocates and turned into parks.
“There was a group of construction men eating lunch with Shakespeare being performed in front of them,” said Midtown resident Tom Armstrong, who was watching the show.
The group, Transportation Alternatives, said it was trying to show that there were other uses for the spaces than just parking cars.
