The woman who allegedly poured gasoline on a Brooklyn yeshiva and sparked a fire has been charged with a hate crime, authorities said.
Sharee Jones, 39, was arrested Sunday morning for allegedly dousing a fenced-off area at Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School with the propellent from a gas can Thursday evening, setting it ablaze, authorities said.
She was charged with reckless endangerment as a hate crime and fifth-degree arson, cops said.
The incident was captured on surveillance video released by police. Cops also released an image of the woman holding a blue megaphone and carrying the red canister.
Luckily, a yeshiva security guard was able to extinguish the fire with water, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
