A brute sucker-punched a 61-year-old man — knocking him unconscious — in an unprovoked attack on a busy Bronx street this week, new video shows.

DCPIThe victim was walking on East Burnside Avenue near Jerome Avenue in University Heights around 11:45 a.m. Monday when a man — who was already down the block — turned around, walked toward him and socked him in the face, according to the video released by police late Thursday.



The blow knocked the victim to the ground and left him unconscious.
Several pedestrians were nearby at the time of the assault — and at least two are shown walking away and doing nothing.
