A person was shot in front of an Upper East Side restaurant on Friday evening, authorities said.

The victim was found shot in front of Philippe Chow on East 60th Street near Madison Avenue shortly before 6 p.m., an FDNY spokeswoman said.

The wounded person was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still looking for the shooter, but could not immediately provide a description of the suspect.
